Easter Gifts

I want to do something special from my daughter for My parents for Easter. Does anyone have any cool ideas?

Can you give me a little more info. so that I can personalize it a little bit?

Do they live near you?

What are their hobbies?

Do they like "cute" things like personalized stuff? "Grandma & Granpa" Shirts and things like that?

How old is your daughter? Does she have a favorite activity that she likes to do with them?

Here is an idea for a Grandparents Gift Basket:

Use a basket or reusable container
- Scrapbook
- Children's artwork
- Gifts made by the kids
- Framed family pictures
- Videos of the family
- Long-distance calling card
- Candy, coffee, or tea
- Handmade Christmas ornaments
- Polar fleece lap blanket

Of course, the last two items would have to be replaced.

Let me know and Ill see what I can come up with for you.

Tami

Grandma and Grandpa only live 10 minutes away. But she is very very close to them and they do so much for her I would like to suprise them with something. She is only almost 3 so not capable of doing something huge. Let me know. Thanks.

This is a really cute idea. We have a small tree in our house that we are going to decorate this year too.

Egg Tree
The seasonal tree lends itself to Easter. Get a branch with no leaves from outside, and "plant" it in a pot of plaster. Let set. Have children bring in eggs. At home, poke hole in either end and blow the insides out. These can be used for scrambled eggs, baking etc.. Then string fine wire through Children can paint eggs with pastel colored tempera paints. Be sure to put name on eggs, using masking tape. Hang eggs onto tree branches. Let the children take their egg home when it's time.

Here is another cute idea: Easter Placemats

Make some personalized placemats for each of the friends or family members that will be attending your Easter dinner! You can use photos, personal artwork, or Easter cards to make each placemat super special!

You'll need:

Easter cards, photos, or pictures cut from magazines
Drawings and other artwork
Light weight cardboard or heavy construction paper
Glue
Contact paper

Select some special pictures from magazines, Easter cards, photos, or your own art collection, Cut them out in different and fun shapes. Glue the cut-outs onto a piece of light cardboard or construction paper in a decorative fashion.

Cover your collage with clear contact paper to seal the placemat. Be sure to date and sign it! Use your personalized placemats for your Easter dinner!

Are you looking for something like this or something fancier and longer lasting?

Have you made her handprints yet? That would make a nice gift too.

Do you mean an Easter poem with her handprints or just a poem?

Wow, this is a challenging gift

This is the only poem that I could find so far.

This isn't just any handprint as you can plainly see.
For it is a special handprint
Made by Me!
Along with this handprint
I send lots of hugs and kisses your way.
And ask that God bless you
On this Easter Day!

Im still looking for something "different"
