Here is a cute project that you could do and incorporate the above poem on it too.

Handprint Photo Blossom Craft

This is a simple keepsake craft made from a child's photo, a child's handprint, and construction paper.

Supplies needed: A piece of light-colored construction paper (white, pale blue, pale yellow, etc.) - for the backgound
One piece of brightly-colored construction paper - for the flower petals
A photo of the child
Scissors
Glue
Green tempera paint
A brush (or just use your finger)
Pen or pencil

Cut a circle around the head of a picture of a child (this will be the center of the flower.

Cut a flower shape out of colorful construction paper. Make sure that the flower is a bit bigger than the round picture of the child, but small enough so that it will fit on the paper.
Glue the paper flower towards the top of a piece of paper.
Using green tempera paint, draw a stem for your flower.
Have the child make two green handprints near the base of the stem - these will be the flower's leaves.
Glue the picture of the child to the center of the flower.
Write the child's name (and the date, if you wish) on the paper.
You now have an adorable keepsake of your child.

Another idea is to take a terra cotta flower pot and have your DD paint her handprint on it. You could then print the poem above or another similar poem on it. Fill with packs of flower seeds and wrap up. ( Dont forget to add a protective coat over the paint if they will use it for the flower seeds)

Great Ideas ajrsmom!

We've made a handprint ornament using a similar poem to the Easter one you listed. We used white paint to make a handprint on a dark colored ornament & then used other colors to make the fingers look like snowmen!

We also made the terra cotta pot w/ handprints for Mothers Day last year.

I love the Photo Blossom idea!

Thanks for the great ideas ajrsmom!
