Thundershirt For Dogs

My vet recommended this for my 12 lb. daschund Bailey yesterday. She is absolutely terrified of rain, thunderstorm, wind and lightning. He said either half a benadryl or this new product a couple of his customers have used for their dogs that seems to work.

I'm not sure if we'll use it but I thought it worth sharing on here. I'll be looking locally at our pet stores to see if they have it before ordering off the net.

I read what the site had to say about the Thundershirts and seems it would have the same effect as swaddling a baby. Might work.

That is what I was thinking... same principal it looks like.

Bluebird said she uses this site for her dogs.. who knew there were so many alternatives out there. Our poor baby is shivering again now as we just had rain come through and high winds.
