| Crabmeat Dip
as posted in the March What's for Dinner? thread. Crabmeat Dip
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 stalks celery, minced
1 can sliced mushrooms ( I use 8 oz. fresh
-------mushrooms)
1 stick oleo
1 medium onion, minced
1 lb. fresh crabmeat
Tabasco Sauce or Cayenne pepper, to taste
1 tablesppon Worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper to taste
Melt oleo and saute' onions, celery and
mushrooms until tender. Add cream cheese.
When cheese is melted, add soup. Blend
well and heat thoroughly. Do NOT boil.
Hand-sift crabmeat into mixture. Serve hot
with melba rounds.
