I've recently been on WW - lost 30 pounds then summer break w/ traveling hit and I've not been on plan. I've gained about 3 pounds back and am planning to go back on plan once school starts back up and we have a regular schedule again. I have alot of weight to lose and I think this is the best way for me to do it.

I do the online plan - no meetings, but all the recipes, tips and an online forum.

Need your suggestion - One of my favorite breakfast items (Lean Pockets sausage & egg) has been changed - they made it twice the size it had been - and is now too many points for me to consider for breakfast. Anyone have any suggestions? I am looking for something I can heat and eat - I can even cook it on the weekend and heat it all week. It just has to be microwavable and able to be eaten in the car.

Thanks!

Hi Lisa -- I don't do the WW plan, so I'm not very familiar with the point system. However, I make low-fat, low-calorie breakfast burritos that can be made in advance and reheated. I use corn tortillas (70 calories each), 1 egg plus 1 additional egg white, a little chopped onion, some meat-less Morningstar brand bacon or Morningstar brand sausage (I'm a vegetarian). I make an omlette with the ingredients (I use a pan approximately the size of the tortilla) and then place it on the tortilla and roll it all up. You can wrap it in tinfoil, or make several and store them in a Tupperware to reheat in the microwave. If you use the microwave, I would then wrap them in tinfoil to keep them warm and to make car-eating a little easier. Good luck!

Sue - Thank you! I will try that with eggwhites that come in a carton to help keep the points down.

The eggwhites is a super tip. I do add a little yolk for color and texture. This is very filling too. I find that eating warm foods is more satisfying when trying to keep portions in control. Instant oatmeal is also a nice option. You can add some FF milk and drink it in the car if you put it in a coffee mug that has a large enough hole.

Enjoy!
