Thanks Tami!1 My blood sugar was up when I had my gall bladder out. I am really trying hard to watch my sugars and hopfully drop a few pounds.

I was diagnosed with the beginnings of Diabetes a few months ago and so far I have been able to keep it under control, lost 12 lbs and feel good. Just cleaned everything out of my kitchen that was "white" and sugary. Also been walking in the Mall. Hope Dr. blood tests nextweek will show I still don't need meds.

I will definitely check out this thread. the girls want to bake cookies but since I am diabetic I say no, (I don't like to bake anyway) but maybe we can make some good healthy cookies as a treat for Pap.
