F.F & S.F. Whipped Topping Recipes

Here are 2 recipes for Whipped Topping

1 is Fat Free

1 is Sugar Free



Non-fat Whipped Topping (Health Valley)

Recipe By :
Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Low-Fat/Low-Cal Toppings

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/3 cup Nonfat milk
1/3 cup Instant nonfat dry milk -- solids
1 teaspoon Honey -- up to 2 ts to taste
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla

Pour nonfat milk into a small metal mixing bowl. Set bowl in freeazer
until ice crystals begin to form; about 15 to 20 minutes. Chill
beaters from mixer in freezer as well. Using a hand held electric
mixer, beat nonfat dry milk solids into nonfat milk. Continue
to beat on high until soft peaks form, about 2 minutes. Add honey
to taste and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form, about 2
additional minutes. Use within 20 minutes to avoid cream separating.
Makes 1 1/2 cups 1/4 cup of product contains 14 calories with

SUGAR FREE WHIPPED TOPPING

Recipe By :
Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time :0:00
Categories : Low-Fat/Low-Cal Cakes
Toppings

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/2 cup Instant dry milk
1/3 cup Cold water
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
2 tablespoons Sugar
1/4 cup Equivalent-sugar substitute
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

Combine dry milk and water and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Beat
at high speed for 4 minutes. Add lemon juice to whipped milk
and beat at high speed for 4 minutes. Stir sugar and sugar substitute
together and add gradually to the whipped milk while it is being
beaten. Add vanilla to whipped topping and refrigerate until
used. Can be spread on top of pies or used as a garnish for pies,
puddings, or gelatins.
It should be prepared as close to serving time as possible since
it loses volume after a period of time. 1 serving = 2T exchanges
= free (1/3 c is 1 veg exchange) calories=12
