Help needed for a crumble

Hi all

Just wondering if any of you can help me with some fruits that go with crumble please

We haven't been big on desserts, but I bought some rhubarb the other day and made a crumble, the kids enjoyed it, but 2 wasn't 100% on the rhubarb..

They aren't keen on apples but like most other fruit
My youngest is allergic to squashes/pumpkin

What other fruits would go together and nice in a crumble please?

My first is apple, but our second is peaches and the berries sound nice, how about if you mix apple and the berries that way you'd get the colour and flavour of the berries but the more filling of the apple?

Almost anything can be used as a crumble to, any of those stale or crushed sweet biscuit/cookies are great, mix with a handful of oats, sunflower seeds and flax seeds and bake till browned and yummy.

I think the apple and berry sounds nice we aren't big dessert eaters so not up on cooking fruits etc

I wouldn't have put peaches as able to cook, that is how un knowledeable I am lol

Main meals are ok - honest ;p

Madmum I just use tinned peaches/pears, works for me. I drain the juice but not every drop, pop in bottom of the dish and add crumble and bake.
Frozen berries, don't tell and no one will notice especially if topped with a scoop of ice cream.
Personally I like custard on my crumble but my family like ice cream
