Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Original Poster: zemmom

This is one of my family's favorite treats. I could eat the crust by itself!

Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

2 c chopped pretzels
1/4 c sugar
3/4 c butter melted
8 oz cream cheese
12 oz cool whip
Large box wild strawberry jello
2 c boiling water
2 10 oz frozen strawberries

Mix pretzels, butter, sugar. Press into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 min @ 350. Cream sugar crean cheese and cool whip until smooth. Refrigerate. Disolve jello with water. Stir 2 minutes. Add strawberries. Spread chilled whipped mixture over crust, cover with strawberry mixture. Refrigerate until set at least 2 hours.

I love to make 2 pans of this dessert and cut pieces to freeze for later. Enjoy!!
