Nice Idea for a Wall Decoration

I thought that this was a very cute and easy idea for a large wall that needed to be jazzed up a bit. This could be done in any color and style for many different looks.

Tami, that looks nice! What did you use to hang the picture frames from that rod? Is it ribbon or something stronger?

HEY I have one of those! I got it from Lillian Vernon and the pic frames are hanging from ribbons. I have it on our bedroom wall and each frame is holding a baby picture - one each of dd#1 and 2, dh and me.

Actually, I havent made this one yet. I did find the pic. at a craft site, not Lilian Vernon but after looking at the LV site, it is still for sale there.


LJsmom, Do you have this one pictured? The frames look as if they are hanging from straps here but I have seen them on other sites made with ribbon and they are really cute! In fact, When I make one for our house, I will probably use ribbon on mine. Ive seen them with pretty sheer pink ribbon for a little girls room and it is just adorable!

No, that one looks as if its made from leather straps. Mine has a dowel rod with knobs on each end. The frames are hung by white ribbon. Thinking about it now, I probably could have made it rather than bought it !!! I like the pink ribbon idea, what a cute gift too
