craftroom ideas
I converted an unused bedroom into my craftroom. I didn't want to spend a lot in decorating but found a cute crafty-looking border that I put half way up on the walls to make it look like my room instead of a bedroom. My husband and I took some old cupboards and set them back to back on a base he had made (just a square). This gives you the height you need. We then purchased a folding table from Sam's Club, took off the legs and set on top. Now I have a craft table just the right height, with cupboards on both sides for lots of storage. We added a small pegboard at one end to hold extra things. I do a lot of sewing and this table is just the right height for cutting. The great thing about the table top, that if I need an extra table it comes right off and the legs can be put back on.
Another idea I came up with was my daughters old music stand makes a perfect holder for a small cork board to hold my pattern instructions next to my sewing machine.
