how is your bedroom decorated?

Mine is painted milk chocoatle, decorated with browns, golds and animal prints. Window treatments are swags made from tule and tule like material. Again in golds, animal prints, off white and dark chocolate brown.

What I would LOVE is a bigger room! A fireplace, darker chocolate walls....

I have pale blue walls, a dark wood framed bed with black wrought iron work between the 4 posts (not tall) I have a dark wood to match the bed blanket box with black iron handles on either end, same for 2 bedside tables.
I have low loop piled creme coloured carpet with caramel flecks.
I have white blackout curtains with white lace between that shows when opened every day.
As with the rest of the house I dont' like a cluttered look the wardrobe is walk in and the door can be closed if messy, the ensuite bath door can be closed to, besides the furniture there is not much showing in there.
On the walls I have dark framed prints, one a long narrow mountain/sky scene the other one I did many years ago with red and greens and yellows.
My colour in the room comes from my bed/duvet covers, bright stripes, dots and prints that have blue as a common colour in all. Generally not fussy, frilly or over done.

My husband and I enjoy going away for romantic weekends at a bed and breakfast in Maine. Inspired by our visits there, we decided to give our bedroom a similar romantic feel. You can see pics here.
