Let's Reduce Our Debt!

Is anyone willing to post debt amounts, ways to reduce the amounts, how we've done it, and the amounts we shave off?

I'll start. We have around $6,000 in credit card debt. We are paying just a few dollars over the minimum each month (all we can afford right now).

Me personally would never share what my debts are. I feel that is very personal.

However if you posted ways to cut your debt, that I would be interested in.

I will jump in, I don't have a problem! I have found in the past on other sites that it can help when people post how much debt and such they have had and how they have paid it off. Gives me hope that if someone can pay off over 100,000 in debt in a reasonable amount of time I can pay off my debt, before I am 80! LOL
I have about $7,000 in credit card. Not that I have anything too show for it! It all happened during my dh 2 latyoffs in the last 6yrs. One when I was preg. the other when I had just had a baby, and money was already tight. We have already paid off about 1/3, I would like too pay faster, but I can only pay slightly above the minimum right now. But I have negotiated lower interest rates with most of the companies. And I plan on snowballing them, once I get some paid off.
My other goal is too get rid of my car loan. Right now I just am not sure how too do it. We owe more than its worth! So I will probably have too keep paying for awhile, then get rid off it.
