Fire Prevention Week

What is everyone doing for the different ages they watch, for fire prevention week?

Today is my first WORKING day as a child care provider. I got my first kid. He is 10 months old. Wish me luck

Our Fire Dept. is showing off their new ladder truck Tomorrow, we are going to a parade for the fire depts. from all around our area. Afterwards, we are heading to the fire station for a tour showing some of the new renovations to the station. Lots of demonstrations for fire safety will be going on too.

It should be a really fun time!

My DS, 3 years old is in pre-school now. Last week they had one of the town's fire trucks come to the school and let the kids climb up in the truck and took pictures. They also passed out stickers and t-shirts to the kids. My DS was soooo excited. The week before they set up a section of the school room to look like a fire dept. and drew pictures of fire trucks. Had a class on what to do incase of a fire. Very nice job.
