Quilt pics

Here are some of the projects I've been working on since getting hooked on quilting.

First is a small (40 x 27") Ohio Star that I made for my son (really just for practice with triangles).

Next is a quillow (a quilt with a pocket that you can fold the quilt into, making a pillow) I made for my son's birthday. It's Peanuts!

This one's just for me. It's called a ragged quilt, and it's really easy and fun to make.

Last but not least, some Rail Fence blocks I've been working on for a quilt for my sister.

Beautiful work!! Those quillows are so cool, I ordered one from www.Quillows.com for my very pregnant neighbor LOL as a shower gift. It just arrived today and I took it down and gave it to her, she just LOVED it! I can't wait for mine to get here. I had her make hers first so that I could get it to her before the baby was born, my quillow is next

Do you sell your quilts JustGina? I love that ragged one, it's great! I have always wanted to try quilting, but I already have so many other things going I just don't know if I could swueeze another project in

How Beautiful!!!
I can't even sew a straight line let alone do such wonderful work.
I was wondering the same, if you sell your quilts. I too love that ragged quilt it looks just right for snuggling in!

kimmyo, I think a ragged quilt, aka shaggy quilt, is a great pattern for beginners. It was my first full-size quilt (I had made a couple of doll quilts). Here is a link that takes you through step by step: Shaggy Quilt

Thanks for all the compliments, ladies! I would like to eventually make and sell quillows on ebay or something (they really are so easy!). But I haven't sold anything yet. I'm still a newbie quilter.

Holy smokes!

Amanda, I just went to the Quillows site that you posted...she charges $60 each for those things! Wow! I think I may have stumbled onto a home business.
