looking for crocheted or sewing patterns for 11 1/2 inch dolls

Hi, how is everyone today? I love to crochet and sew barbie dolls clothes but I need some new patterns. Does anyone know where I can get some? My daughters would love it if I could come up with something new for them.

Patterns for Barbie Clothes

Hi Rhonda
McCalls have a full range of patterns available - this may be an expensive option however, once you have a basic set you can change the fabrics and finishes to make the outfits look different.

You can find patterns also at fabric stores (I go to Han**** and get them for $0.99 or $1.99 each on sale - reg price is $4 - $9). I have LOTS of patterns for my twins. You may also be able to find some at thrift stores. I recently found a pattern for '70s styles (retro) for only $0.09. Happy hunting...if there are on or two specific items you are looking for and cannot find, I may be able to scan it and attach to an email for you.

E-mail me at Kathyandcrewof4@aol.com and we'll see what we can come up with. I'd like to exchange, if we can.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Kathy

Barbie Clothes

Rhonda, I found a web site, Annies Attic.com for patterns, many are free and there are other links for sites that might work for you.

Good Luck!

Rhonda, I found these sites for crocheted fashion dolls at Christmas time when I was looking to make doll clothes for my daughter. These were the best that I found. There are hundreds of outfits. http://home.inreach.com/marthac/fash.html

http://www.thefamily.com/countrycott...et/barbie.html

http://www.seafore.com/

I hope this helps you a little or a lot. Some of these dress are gorgeous and will take quite a while to crochet. But they look like fun. Dawn
