3 Year Old Loves To Paint

My 3 yoDD loves to paint. One Sunday afternoon, I got out my acrylic paints and 4 large clay pots I had in the garage. We sat at her little picnic table outside and painted for 2 hours. We had a blast. I opened all the bottles and just let her have fun. I sat across from her and turned the planter every now and then to let her paint on a different side. I would fill in different colors on the side she had been working on. These turned out really cool and very unique. We bought pretty begonias and geraniums to plant in the pots and gave them away as gifts. I wrote my daughters name and the year on the bottom. They really are a big hit and fun to do. I love the one I have and will always remember the day we painted it.

When my kids were younger they loved to paint but hubby was always worried about getting the paint every where...

On special occasions I would purchase Washable Paint and let my kids paint on the windows...For Christmas they did a winter scene with snow,trees,birds and my son did a big Santa...Everyone commented on them and the neighbors really seemed to like them

On Valentine's day let your kids paint on your living room window...with hearts and anything else they like...cleanup is a breeze,soap and water...

Use empty egg cartons to put the paint in and let the kids imagination flow...

My nephew loves to paint too. I give him some of those washable paints and let him paint on the wall. He tends to get more on himself than on the wall. lol

If you can get the end rolls from your local Newspaper,the newsprint rolls,it is great for rolling out on the floor and letting the kids be creative...
chalks,paints,crayons...after the kids are done painting let them add glitter to their art work...
Cut the rolls in whatever length you like and let several kids do their art work together...my grandkids love to do this

In the summer if you have a paved drive way give the kids some chalk and let them do their art outside...even if you have a concrete foundation let them draw on that too,my grandson did it on ours and the neighbors loved it...easy to clean off to...water will do the trick...
