When I was little we did not have all the fancy technology you have today. We used to go out to the back yard, tie a white sheet up on the trees all stretched out, BBQ, play games and watch old 8mm movies.
My kids wanted to do something at home so I pulled out all those yummy goodies in the yard, my husband set up our computer to a projector and outdoor movies for the family,
now all the neighbors sit out and enjoy it too.
In the winter time. We do a game night at our house. It use to be on Thursday nights. Now that everyone is older we switch it around depending on everyones schedule.
We have a great time pulling out the old board games and playing each other. Sometimes instead of a game we do a puzzle.
During the cold weather on Saturday nights we do a movie night. Rent a movie or pull out an oldie but goodie. We make popcorn or have icecream. We cuddle up on the couch and enjoy laughting or being scared to death!!! with each other.
My dil even says that I got my granddaughter hooked on this. So now they do it at there house.
For a family day,we do a Sunday Breakfast with my DD and her family.We get up on Sunday morning and do biscuits,eggs,bacon,sausage.Then we all go out under the big tree behind our pond and the adults sit and talk and watch the kids play and ride their 4 wheeler.

How about a fruit salad? Everyone can chose their favorite fruit to mix in it.and its very healthy and good if you have vegitarians in your familey.
