Laura I use scrapbook chalk...have not tried any other......it comes in hard palettes and many colors. I don't spray mine with anything. You can make the color darker by just going over it more times.

I browsed Jo-Ann's craft store briefly today and they have a lot of different papers but only had a couple of the 3D type. I didn't see any scrapbooking chalk either.
Sharon by tapestry do you mean stitched cards......I have not made any yet but hope to...have lots of patterns saved and I used to do x-stitch and needlepoint so hpefully won't be to hard.
Laura I get all my 3-d sheets on the internet for free from mny different sources.....when I see a sheet I like I save it to my computer...don't know if I wuld find it again. There is a store here in Canada that sells sheets...ecstacy.com I am sure there are many others. Michaels sells scrapbook chalk and any scrapbook store I would think

Deb, Thanks for the info. We do have a Michael's here so I will check that next week. Jo'Anns has a lot of other scrapbooking supplies, embellishments, etc. so I'm surprized they don't carry the chalk. Too bad because it is closer to me. I would be interested in where to get the paper online for free too.
Laura pm me your e-mail address and I will give you some links.
Sharon very nice cards they are making....I use my inkpads to go around the edges on some projects and I lov stickles. I my self have never made these...I have very few samps....some acrylics and then mainly sayings for cards. Not because I don't like them but I could not justify the cost of the stamps for my scrapbooks.....I wanted to many other things.....maybe one day I will invest more money in stamping.

I don't have a big collection of stamps. For the tapestry cards you would need the peg stamps. You can make different designs with one set. I wouldn't want to buy them for scrapbooking, but cards would be another story. Especially if you sell them.

Sharon, I used to be into rubber stamping a lot and saved a shoebox full of them to make cards with. I did have some stamps that were similar to those pens but unfortunately gave them away because I never could figure out what to do with them. They were of hearts, shamrocks, footprints, etc.
