3-D Cards

I just saw this thread.
Deb--I was just putting together some ideas for my adult craft classes thsi fall & winter and one of the thing I was planning was 3-D and Pop-up cards. I will have to keep checking this thread for ideas.

Joy they are a breeze to make so will be a great craft choice ....you can find all kinds of 3-d sheets on the web

Debbie, Those are so cute and they do look easy to make. Does the background paper have an embossed design? It looks like it on the flowers behind Minnie but on the one with the shoe I can't tell if the circles are embossed or raised.

Laura both cards are embossed and then I chalked them. On minnie I added some stickles for some bling.....

Chalk? Was the paper white originally?

Laura yes it was.....I like chalking the embossed images becuse it gives a light and dark effect......

Deb, The chalk does give it a nice dual-color effect. Do you use a special kind of chalk or spray it with anything to seal it?
