I'm moving upstate NY just after you take a detour here to give me my complimentary 1st free lesson
I would love to take lessons from you, but you would need plenty of patience I'm afraid.
I envy the people who received your art for pressents.
There you go, Bilby! If it were only as easy as a detour, right?! I am pretty good on the patience end of things, so you would probably be OK there! If you were closer, I would give you something as a present too! I still have some soaps left, etc. ;-)
My cards are mostly a collage of pictures with the backing papers, corregated cardboard, patterned/shiny or homemade papers. I make the homemade papers. These aren't as detailed as the painted ones though.
Bilby--any pics of your cards or homemade paper you could post? I have always thought it would be fun to try making homemade paper--maybe try a basic one with my kids when they get older if I could get the materials for doing it. I will be homeschooling and that would make for a nice project.
I'll have to have a look, after finishing my Christmas cards I haven't started on this years birthday cards yet, but I will have to get a wiggle on because I'll have one soon.
Making paper is easy. I got a 'how to' kit for my b-day a couple of yrs ago, easy. I'm glad I kept my baby bath.
I'm back. Haven't been on this site for awhile.
Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I have a site that you might take a look at what I've been up to.
