Happy face

I love that book shelf!! When we had a family reunion, my uncle put one on top of a couple of sawhorses to use to put all the food on. I like to recycle as much as possible.

I've seen that done in some of the "garage sale" shows we've done in past years.

Yes, this guy is very creative with old things that would go in the trash and making money too... gotta like that!

I found two doors in the junk! I actually had to dumpster dive to get them frames and all! Now I just have to find the time to put one up as my doorway to the the field!

Been walking hrough the woods also watching for cedars down. I want to make a railing and use those as the post. Then the "rails" will be interesting bent tree branches. Guess they can go with my door to nowhere!

Last week I picked up some small wrought iron gates; thinking they will make an interesting "fence" around BB's grave. Sort of like the old gates you see in really old cemeteries around grave sites.

That will be so cool!

Last year dh and I made a arbor with deadfall. It started out as a arbor but we put a back on it. We renewed our wedding vows in front of it. We put tiny lights through it and draped the inside with sheer cocoa material. I think we spent.....$3 on the entire thing! Now it is in the back yard with a small bench (yard sale .50) in it.

Sounds really neat! I'm all for anything someone is throwing out or something we can make from nature! I love the challenge of making simething new or something totally different from one thing or more. DH and I have rescued so many things meant for the junk pile over the years. And now all these people have TV shows doing the same thing. Where was I when they found people willing to pay them to do such things! LOL
