| Punch quilting anyone?
I just finished my first punch quilting project, and am quite pleased with how it turned out.
Punch quilting is making a wall hanging with a base of foam board (foam sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard). You transfer or make a design (like a quilt block) on the board and then cut on the lines about halfway into the board to create channels. You add thin batting to create a puffy look, and then fabric pieces cut to size to cover each section. The fabric is pushed into the channels, and it ends up looking like a sewn quilt block, but with no sewing involved.
