| Clay Pot Birdfeeder Clay Pot Birdfeeder Materials Needed: 2-inch clay pot 14-inch clay pot 16-inch clay pot 18-20-inch diameter clay saucer Liquid Nails, silicone adhesive or heavy duty outdoor glue caulk gun Acrylic paints brushes (optional) Shells grout glue (optional) Clear satin polyurethane or acrylic sealer Directions: If you are painting your birdbath, you may wish to glue the pots together AFTER they are painted. There are lots of ways to decorate your birdbath. Using a foam brush, sponges, stencils or stampers, you can make the birdbath very decorative. You can glue shells onto the birdbath, then apply grout between the shells. Mosaic tiles or stones could also be used. When all is dry, cover the painted and grouted surfaces with several layers of acrylic sealer. You can buy this in spray cans or brush it on from a can.
