Paper Snowflakes

Does anyone have any ideas on anything different to do with papersnowflakes? I have the patterns from www. marhtastewart.com. I have some pie tins and thought maybe of tracing the pattern into the tins and cutting them out. Is there some kind of special knife I can use? I am also going to use glitter paint on them, also going to paint them with glow in the dark paint. Any more good ideas??? I would appreciate any help. Thanks

Whenever I've done paper snowflakes I folded the paper either side to side many times or circular from the centre (to make a flat cone shape)and used scissors to cut my small shapes and they multiply like the paper dolls, never used a pattern.
You can use them as stencils if you spray glue lightly the back of your snow flake and lightly tap glued paper onto a plate window and either spray paint or put paint onto a toothbrush and flick with an ice cream stick to give a stipple effect. You then carefully peel off the paper snow flake and your pic is there.
Did that make any sense or am I way off on my description? LOL
Be careful with your paint if you are going to eat off it as not all paints are food friendly.
