counted cross stitch

I have been doing counted cross stitch for more then 10 years and love doing it right now am doing a picture of my dad with his marine uniform on my hubby just finsihed a pic of his mom and his aunt. Does anyone else do any cross stitching?

I have been doing counted cross-stitch for about 20 years. I love it too. It is my favorite thing to do. I just finished a small ornament and am trying to decide what my next project will be! My hubby and son got my two new projects for Christmas. It is like therapy for me. Do you feel that way too?

I am a newbie when it comes to cross stitch. I just started doing it about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it! It is so relaxing for me. I am working on one called hearth and home right now and it is coming along pretty well. I also have one that I am in the middle of but am not working on at the moment called wedding sampler. I am lookiing for a harley davidson pattern. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I received my Herrschners after Christmas sale catalog a few days ago. I have been drooling over it ever since. I want everything. I carefully narrowed my choices down to a few I couldn't live without! I placed my order today. I will be waiting patiently for the postman to bring me my goodies. I ordered a bunch of ornaments to do for next year. I also ordered a quilling kit and quilling tools. I have never done this craft. It looks cute in the catalog and the price was right so I thought I would give it a try.

Is anyone familiar with quilling?

Oh gosh someone else does cross stitch maybe some one can help me I have the Lord's Praying Hands pattern that I have done 3 times now as all cross stitcher know once you highlight them it gone. Yes I forgot to copy the patter dumb me. does anyone out their know of where or have a copy of the Praying Hands pattern that can be copied. Alot of friends loved what I had done and want me to do more but the pattern has had it. I have written to the company but discountinue so no luck there. And I just don't want to go buy another one just for the pattern.

They have a great selection to order from and they also have a message board where people post what they are looking for and they buy, sell, trade, etc. Just click on kits and patterns and go to the religious section. If you don't see what you want to order there is a place at the bottom where you can enter special requests. Good luck in your search.

Decided to treat myself to a day of x-stitching. Oh sure there are plenty of things I need to be doing but I decided a day of therapy was needed before I hurt someone.

I started a new piece today. It is a Christmas design. (getting a jump on next year I hope). It is a wicker basket filled with teddy bears, bows and greenery. Very cute. It seems to be working up quickly. It was a kit and the floss was a real pain to sort and seperate They don't have to make it so difficult!

What is everyone else working on?
