Ok all the books are on their way, except for three, I need to buy more envelopes LOL Those will be out by Monday though
ALSO, I wanted to follow up on a great suggestion made by I believe Sharona?? When my daughter and I did the string craft, the ones you wrap around the balloons as molds, she suggested making them into ornaments.
So here's what I did. I used green, white, and red string and made the balloons much smaller. After they dried, I sprayed them with glitter spray paint, some with gold, some with silver. I put them into a glittery gold baket I picked up at Michaels craft store. These would look awesome in a clear glass bowl as a centerpiece!
Also this time I used spray on fabric stiffener so that when I write up the article, I can offer the reader options: homemade concoction or store bought equivalent.
Not sure how well the glitter shows on these, but here's the pic anyway!
Oh i wish I could have gotten in on this one, It would have been so fun to do with my daughter. Maybe next time, I catch the posts for such requests sooner now that I am subscribed to this thread.
