thanks for the info Candy!!!!! I will have to keep my eyes peeled for sinamay when I go craft shopping. We have tons of crafts stores here in Salt Lake and surrounding area. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Any online websites perhaps?

Candy, I was looking through another craft group when I came across the sinamay angels. I see now! They are so unique and gorgeous. This is something I know my mother would truly enjoy. I am going to look into this a little more. It's so different from the crafts and arts that I do, so, this would be fun to branch out and try my hand at something else.

mine have to be a jpeg file so i can get the bytes low enough.
Some peoples pics take up the whole screen...don't know how they do that I can't. Don't know . Just hit browes and select the picture. If it is too big resize or resample it. hope this helps some.

resizing pictures

right click on your pic it should give you the option to "open with" and paint should be one of the options.

Open it with paint
Than click on the image tab
than click the stretch/skew tab
and you can resize it in there.

I can not tell you how far down to resize it, it is something you have to "play" around with until it will post at FC! but start with 50% at a time

maybe this will help you out.
if you still cannot do it send them to me and I will do it for you

Don't forget to do save is in the edit box too, so that when you come back to attach your picture it's still the small size you made it before... just rename it and save it in your same folder.

I decrease mine to 25% Horizontal and Vertical, seems to work o.k. Candy saw my first attempt at posting a photo, only 1/3 the sky posted, LOL!

Candy

the angels are gorgeous.

Well thanks for the but for some reason (maybe it is too old) it does not have open when I right click and I know I don't have paint. That is okay thanks for all your help.

Do you "Pictures" as one of your programs? That's what I use I have Windows XP system.

We'll get it figured out eventually... maybe putting down your system will help one of the ladies here help you better. I have a ancient one at work, Windows 95 and with the help of co workers was able once or twice to post photos but forgot how to do it.
