Donna, you did it!

Hey with doing this, you should be able to post other things too, just learn to resize, and if you can't due to your own computer just let me know my dear friend.

Living close to everyone... we would never be home, we would be having a blast with one anothe for awhile.. do you think we would forget FC... no way! not us..

but we could help one another to learn to do crafts and then go together for a craft show and what fun that would be.

thanks Candy for explaining the wooden spoon...

do you buy your spoon at a wholesale place or just a craft shop?

if it is a wholesale place could you share with us the place.

Thank you ladies...

Cyn , the chalkboard hearts wre bought as is ,minus the decorating . They are from Darice Inc. and can be purchased from stores who carry darice products along with a lot of chalkboard ornies ready to decorate. Darice.com is how to contact them for info ...they are in Ohio and if you have a tax Id and after a 200 dollar opening order you can purchase directly from them with a miminun order of 100 dollars. If you do a lot of shows this would be a way to go. Other wise serch for a craft supply store that crries Darice products. Also you Can paint your own ornies with chalkboard paint which comes in a 4 oz. bottle to paint on with brush or a 6 or 8 oz. spray can with you can use stencils and spray paint a heart or circle or square onto your wood ornie.

The spoon is also a Darice productitem number 09135. They come 12 in a pack and retail for 25 or 30 cents each.

Resin ornies are sold in most craft suply stores and these particular ones are gingerbread cookies. The ones that work are for mini trees like 12 inch tall. the ornies are called mini Christmas tree decorations. Mine are also from Darice but other companies make them to and they should not be hard to find.

Candy.Thank You
I can't afford to buy that much at one time... that the only problem with some of the wholesalers, but I do understand where they are coming from.

Candy - your crafts/artwork are great! You all display such talent. I like seeing the different ideas and may have to try some of them when I have some time.

Candy, the ornaments are really cute, I love the wooden spoon and the chalkboard heart idea maybe next year that could be my sisters and in laws gift???
If we all lived close by none of us would get any work done LOL we would all have to quit our jobs and just live together and open up a craft fair LOL. Then we would need a bigger place because once our customers got to know us then they would want to live with us too because we have the best and wonderful ppl in the world on this site. You all take care and have a great day.

Candy

Your artwork is beautiful.... you should at least be doing craft shows this time of year. I really enjoy looking at all the things you come up with.

O.k. ladies

Let's see some more pictures. I promise to try to do better about posting my stuff too.

Anna

this is what I had image what your purses would look like when you describe it to me for the first time... and they are so cute.

I've made my granddaughters little purses our to the pockets of the blue jean this year... and made the handles out of a piece of the jean as well... then I put lace on the pocket and then my oldest gd I sew some cute little lady bugs button on it.

the other one I put a little teddy bear on it...

I used the pocket that was NOT square but the one that has the point on it...

wish I could take a picture of it to show ya'll... I'm so proud of myself and it turned out cute.

Bar-bar

Someone was selling those at our mall briefly although she didn't have hers decorated at all. I don't know how well they sold or if at all?

Someone is duplicating my purses or trying to at the mall up the road from ours. She apparently couldn't find the size I use so she took a pair of adult jeans and split them in half so you'd have one front pocket side and the rear end of the same side, seemed them up the side and she did pattern cutouts for the design. They looked o.k. but not something I would wear? I know she tried duplicating because they weren't in there a couple months ago. She's also charging more than I do too although I intend to start chargining more next month.
