| Making Scented Soap
Use my lye soap recipe posted by Shawn on here under the title "Lye Soap"
To it, add about 1/2 oz. of any of your favorite fragrance or essential oils but do be sure to read the label that they are safe for soap, some aren't intended for that purpose and can irritate the skin.
I use a brand called Crafty Bubbles.
I have made Lavender, Jasmine, French Silk, Patchouli, Sweet Pea to name just a few.. you can also add other ingredients to the soap such a just a small amount about 2 tbs. of honey and a sprinkling of oatmeal and now you have oatmeal honey soap.
