Janet,
Thanks for the site it looks like it has a lot to offer.
Just to let you know this will be our fourth grandchild. The other three have been girls so far. I am hoping for a boy this time. But if it isn't that will be okay too. I also have a niece who is due the first part of November. So, will share the site with her too.
Thanks again.
I have posted the instructions for the t-shirt bags. I hope it is clear on how to make them!
Do any of you get together with friends to have a craft time? I do and it is a very welcome afternoon every week. It is always interesting to see what everyone is doing.

Oh Bunny, you will be truly missed by your FC friends God's speed.
3 or 4 years ago Cooked I used to have a scrap day (19-2pm) with 2 other friends, we'd take it in turns going to each others place once every 2 weeks, but "life" got in the way and we've not done that now for a little over a year. We called it our therapy session.
It was fun, whoevers place it was at provided lunch and nibbles in school holidays we'd bring the kids and some party food and they'd have a catch up also.
Kids are now out working now so ......
Cooked,
Where we lived before (in Wisconsin) I had a group of gals with whom I'd get together about once a month and have what was first called Craft Circle and later became stitch and b*tch.
In my last couple of months before I moved, we got together even more often. I really miss those gals and the laughs we used to have.
When I lived in Zanesville, IN. I belonged to a "Comforters Club", we made comforters out of donated clothes, to make comforters for our church. I loved those days, and miss them so much.
Now I live in MI. and it seems like I am not meeting any crafty friends, everyone is working, and they buy everything from stores.
I sew alone these days, and it gives me time to create and think back about good memories.
Cooked--where did you post your instructions for the TSHIRT BAGS? an different thread? Janet
We have an older persons club in our area they get together and knit squares for anyone can knit squares, and they will assemble blankets for the elderly and homeless.
My MIL participates in this, loves the get together, I can't knit to save myself only crochet.
Crafts, crafts and more crafts....I cannot seem to get enough of doing them...lol...seriously, my most favorite is beading....not jewelry but all kinds of beading...I do a lot of Christmas beading, also make wind chimes, and counted cross stitch in beaded work and now trying to get into making beaded flowers. I am also in process of learning polymer clay...wanting to make figurines....and my list just goes on and on...the only "craft" I don't care to do is free hand paint....have no desire...tried it, didn't like it. Now that I am retired...I have more time to dovote to my crafts. Thanks for letting me just give you my all about my hobbies...teehee!
