Craft Club - Sept 2008 - Paint Stick Scarecrow or Salt Dough Pumpkin Patch

Welcome to the September 2008 Craft Club! This month we'll be focusing on Fall. It's time for the kids to head back to school and the dog days of summer are just about behind us. There are two crafts to choose from this month, the Paint Stick Scarecrow and the Salt Dough Pumpkin Patch. You can make either one or both if you like!

The deadline for this month's project is September 30th and you can join in at any time before that date. Remember to post your progress, comments, and anything else about the project as you go along.

Can't wait to see everyone's projects!

The scarecrow looks interesting to me. I will look at both crafts however.

Looks like fun---my favorite time of year is Fall and the decorating that goes with it.
The scarecrow looks like a fun project for a craft afternoon at the Library.
I am planning on doing both projects.

Happy face

Those are both really cute Amanda. I don't do much decorating except for Christmas. I didn't get to make the other projects as my grandkids wouldn't sit still long enough to do them LOL. Once all the company goes home, maybe I can find time to work on more projects.

Amanda, I made the scarecrow last year and you posted a picture of it for me. I also did a girl version and put a denim skirt on her. I gave her away though.

Sorry I've been so busy

I just couldn't do last month's project. School has officially begun--I'm a teacher. But I'm getting back on track, and we will do it this month.

Yes Coll, you did I must have lost it in my computer crash last year. Do you still have a picture of it?

Anyone who is looking for a quick and simple project, the salt dough pumpkin patch is quite easy, try that one!

I'm not sure if I still have a picture or not. IF I do, I'll re-post it.

blushing Craft club

Hello All,

I am still in Massachussetts caring for my brother.

As soon as I get home I will be able to download my August craft. My frog.

This fall project is cute, can't wait to get home to Colorado.
