I stocked up on paints last weekend so I'm hoping to work on this project with the kids in the next couple of days. They've already picked out other animals that they're going to make.

Yes paddle pop sticks will work. The ones in this craft are actually popsicle sticks, but they aren't really that long, you are probably seeing two glued together (arms and legs).
I am finally making the ant tomorrow and hopefully this too!
Excellent! I need to get on the ball with this. I was busy with an assignment I had, but I finished it today. Now I have a newsletter I need to put together, so maybe I can get to this some time this week!
My frog so far .... I went to go get my peg to paint up and I can't find the half opened packet, so they either have been used and no one said anything or I've put them in such a safe place even I can't find them! LOL
I used the googly eyes as I had plenty of them and I used the foamy stuff for the bow tie and lips cutting by hand, but I did find foam hearts that I used for the flippers in blue.
When I get more pegs I will finish this, hopefully this week
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
