I used to get my prescriptions through Walgreens and would always check the Easy Saver rebate books but they never had much in them that I would use and the rebate booklets for Rite Aid and CVS didn't either. I can get mouthwash, toothpaste, etc. at the dollar store and not have the extra hassle of trying to get a rebate on things like that. I do better with the clearance counters at Walgreens and CVS. This week I found a very pretty wrist watch for $4.99 that was originally $19.99. I've also gotten vitamins and lotions for a very low clearance price. Of course, I always check the expiration date on vitamins and things like that. The CVS down the street from my work has a small end near the back of the store where they put their clearance items. There is a Walgreens a few blocks further down that also has an end counter near the back of the store where they put clearance items. I always check it and sometimes find good deals. Other times it is just junk. CVS has recently gone to "clipless coupons" where you don't have to cut it out of the ad to get the sale price.
