i got some great deals at cvs today.
i got 2 soft soap body washes, 5 deoderents, and 2 dentyne gums for 4.63!!! the soft soap was buy 1 get 1free@3.99. then i had a coupon for 2 off..that made my total for 2 softsoap, $2.00.
the deodernts were on sale for .99 and i had 4 $1 off coupons, plus a .75 cent coupon. that became 5 full size deodernts for a total of .25. the gum was buy 1 get 1 @ .79 so i got 2 for a total of .79. plus i also got 2 packs of cards from finding nemo for the girls for .50 cents each. that was $1. total with tax 4.62.

total saved with coupons and sales...$13.29. i saved roughly 75% off my total bill. so im happy.

hope you all are having a good day too.

I save $100 or more each week by REDEEMING coupons, can't save if they aren't redeemed, grins. I also save about $200 a month by buying and stocking up on grocery sales.

I only keep the coupons I might use and pass along the others. I've started a coupon box at church in June so file any I wont use in that box and take out what I know I will use.

I will walk the isles to see what unadvertised specials that are there to match up with coupons that I have. I generally remember if I have a coupon but it doesn't take much time to flip through them as I have them sorted by catagory in an accordian filing envelope.

I love Krogers new internet coupons that load to the store card as you can also use a manufactures coupon at the register.

Happy face

Thanks all of you for all the great ideas to save money at the grocery store.
I keep forgeting my coupons, or when I remember to brings them, I found out lots of them are expired.
They still sale the coupon file if anyone is interested. You can get it at:
http://www.refundcents.com/
Here's what it looks like:
The RC Deluxe Coupon File --
http://www.refundcents.com/deluxefile3s.jpg
* Holds 2,500 coupons
* 30 pastel divider cards with sticker category headings
* Measures 15.5" x 6.5" x 3.5"
* Fits perfectly in the baby seat of the shopping cart.
* Secure lock and handle.
* $22.90 includes postage.

I'm gonna try to get reorganized with them.
Have a good day

I have mine organized by when the expire rather than categories.
Each week I go thru my coupons and take out what I am going to use that shopping trip (Of course combining that with whatever is on sale in the weekly circular.....)

hugs, train
