Happy New Year all. Norma an envie will be going out to you tomorrow. Along with I think 13 other pieces of mail. And a check to USPS to get 2 books of stamps and she will use them to get my mail out. I hope to go to commissary tomorrow for sure grocery shopping somewhere

Ellen, I was able to use a few more than just that sausage coupon.
Just and observation: I am thinking that the market of coupons is shifting into a lot more non-food coupons. It seems that less food coupons are coming out like they used to, and I need to make sure I use those that do come out for food items I use. That is getting harder as I rely less and less on processed items and more on fresh produce and meats.
I will always use whatever ones come my way, but I think I need to concentrate more on how to use the non-food ones to my benefit. Like really stocking up on more non-food items, so that I have more cash for the food items. So I guess that I am really going to have to "chase" the deals for non-food items even more.

I just saw on another site that some Wendy's restaurants are doing the keychain tag again. You donate $1 (to Wendy's charity), and you get a keychain tag. Show it each time you go there, and it is good for free kids size frosty's all year long.
Blondie, I don't know if my Wendy's participates, but I will ask.

Those jr frosty's are the perfect size for me. Will have to see if the Wendy's in my area are doing them. I get their emails and sometimes there are coupons to print.
Today I went to CVS & Walgreens I brought home $168.33 for $53.41 (sale, coupon, reward/bucks) I got 3 8lb bags of potty soil, 2 Soft Soap, 2 Lysol T. Cleaner, 4 200ct Puffs, 9 Pantene shampoo, 1 Herbal Ess. shampoo, glass top bath scale, 2 Kelloggs meal bars, 6 4pk Slim Fast drinks.

Norma - I'll check out the key tag at my Wendy's. I had one earlier in the year, lost it and a lady in Wendy's gave me her extra one. I said I'm laying off the frostys to get in shape for my 50th high schoo reunion in October and my granddaughter's wedding in 1 1/2 yrs. I know I'm starting early, but that doesn't hurt.
I gave one of the free Pantene shampoos to the man who buys my coffee at the music on Sat. night and puts in a small donation in the jar for me. He said he loves the shampoo on his curly hair which comes to the top of his collar. Most times, he said it is flyaway hair, but with the Pantene, is neat and still curly. My daughter has curly hair and straightens it. I also gave her one of the same kind of shampoo as I can't stand the smell. I'll have to get her opinon on it.
Have been getting the big bag of Chex Mix this week, B0G1F, $.50 after coupons. Tomorrow starts the new grocery sales in SC, so I'm looking forward to seeing what is on sale this week. First have to check in with my bank as I can't get my account to come up online. A credit card I have said they didn't get my payment which was sent before Christmas.

I would think the Wendy's keyring tags would make great little gifts for people, not necessarily this time of year, but as additions to bd gifts, or inside a little card, maybe even for Easter.
Blondie, Pantene makes so many different kinds of shampoo these days, there surely must be one for everyone. I like the sheer volume conditioner, and the moisturizing shampoo together.

Norma - I saw the Pantene shampoo/conditioner combo, thought it would be nice, but was not on clearance. I used the Head & Shoulders shampoo/conditioner, but it burned my yes, gave the bottle to my son in law who likes it. I like the Suave Coconut oil shampoo and conditioner, smell does not bother me and makes my hair do well.
Didn't go to Publix today for the $.01 item, was snack size raisins, but I didn't have coupons to make any of the sales items very cheap.
I was at Wendy's today, but forgot to ask about the key tags, will check it out tomorrow while in town.
Warmer today than yesterday as NC got the snow, so that front passed through. The sun was very bright today.
Will attend the travel club meeting tomorrow instead of holding my coupon club since they have all the big conf. rooms reserved at the library for the 100 people they expect.
