That is our new niece/cousin from China. She is adjusting well but needs to gain a little weight. She will be a year old on Saturday and only weighs 15 pounds.

Today is the last day of Triple Coupons for Bloom grocery store this go-round. This week, between K-Mart having double coupons up to $1 and Bloom having Triple Coupons for 3 days, up to $.99, I purchased $451 in groceries, and paid $127. I still have the last trip to do tonight closer to midnight as the shelves were almost bare after church. The mgr. said they had over 1,000 customers yesterday and that "they all had the same coupons!" He was doing the stocking and I could hear the frustration in his voice. I did show him my newspaper article for being "The Coupon Lady." They did mention the Bloom store, what I bought on one trip, $38 and that i paid $3.04 for it.
K-Mart in Greenville starts today, again, with Double Coupons up to $2.
I did get a lot of Colgate 6.4 oz. tubes of toothpaste with a bonus trial size on the pkg. for $1. It was on sale 2/$6 and they doubled my $1 coupon on each. Those will go to the VA Nursing Home locally, and my DAV Aux. will reimburse me for what I paid.
Norma - thank for your nice remarks. I've lived in this house off and on for 33 yrs, bought it in 1975, rented it out for 12 of those yrs, and it has been worth it to keep the house now that I'm 2 miles from Bloom and their doing the triple couple every month for the past 4 months. So, as the saying goes, "My time has come"!
Norma, I sent out an envelope to you this week.
At 9PM last night, I made my last trip to the grocery store, Bloom, for the triple coupons. Grand Total for K-Mart and Bloom for the week $555, paid $145. The few items that needed to go into the refrigerator went in, and the rest is non-perishable to go into my "Pantry" in the garage. I'm doing the "Happy Dance".
