Norma - Thanks for letting us know how many inserts will be in Sunday's paper and what they will contain.
My Triple Coupon Shopping Trip from Bloom for the last past week netted $513 purchased in groceries for which I paid $47, so $466 in free groceries. I'm proud of that. This time, it was nice to get the Breyer's Ice Cream, 1/2 gal, for $.25 after coupons were deducted, and the Smucker's Ice Cream Toppings free. I put 6 1/2 gallons in a friend's freezer.

Our Shop Rite was having a deal this week on Coke products--5 12-packs for $10. I had 4 "save $1" on Dr. Pepper, so I bought 5 12-packs of that--making sure to get the boxes marked that there was another coupon inside! So I got 5 12-packs for $6, and there are $5 worth of coupons in there. I'll save those until the next time soda is on a great sale, probably around Labor Day. These coupons are good until December, so no worries there.

Big DS is the one drinking all this Dr. Pepper (well, his friends help--but they are welcomed here and I don't mind feeding them), and he was amazed that I got a whole 12-pack for what he'd have to pay for ONE bottle of soda if he bought it out of the school machine. He is learning that using coupons pays off

Barb - great savings on the Dr. Pepper, and good lesson for your son who saw that you got a whole 12 pack for what he'd pay for one drink out of the machine at school.
I bought 3 bottles of Kraft BBQ sauce and 3 bottles of French's Mustard, had coupons on all. The BBQ sauce was B0G1F and I had $.75 coupons on each. The mustard was $.94 and I had $.50 coupons which they doubled. In the end, they owed me $.03 and I got it!

Great going Barbszy and Blondie. Adam would love it if I came across a good deal like that on DR Pepper as he drinks that so do I now and then.
The commissary had a lot of good deals when Stacie and I went. But some of it was stuff I don't normally use or like. But did pick up some B1G1 things

Patti- I would have loved it if I could shop at a Commissary. I only went into one in Jacksonville, FL when my ex-husband got his military retirement and we were then eligible to go. He retired out of the Navy reserves, so we were not eligible until he retired. I'm not eligible now, but anyway live 100 miles from a military base. Glad you got some good deals.

Good afternoon all!!

Barb, that is teriffic about the soda. I have plenty and have been drinking less and less, so no need for me to re-stock. And with the coupons, you bet it is a good deal Did some of that go into those Dr. Pepper baked beans for your picnic today??

Blondie, I so love it when the manufacturers pay me to take their products home. Glad you did so well.

Take care all!! Norma

Blondie I have been able to go to the commisary since April of 56 when EX went back in Army. I so appreciate it too.

Good evening all!!

Barb.,did you see that SR has 1/2 hams on sale starting tomorrow? The shamks are $.49 lb., and the butts are $.59 lb. I plan to stop on the way home from church tomorrow and pick one up.

Blondie, I shopped at that commissary in Jax when I lived there as a child. My father was in the Navy, and we had base privileges when he died.

Take care all!! Norma

Patti- since I was not married to my ex-husband when he was in the military, they said I was not entitled to be a dependent after the divorce. Being a dependent would not have been a reason to stay married. Once I divorced him, I was able to go to back and get the SS from my husband who died when I was 38 as I turned 60 a few months after the divorce.
