Bi-Lo has Ragu Pasta sauce for $.99. There are coupons out for $.60/1 which they double. They only give you up to the value of the item, but that makes it free. I tried the small jar which was on sale, but could hardly find the mushrooms in the mushroom variety. I like the Super Chunky Mushroom which they didn't have in the small jar, so I'll donate these free jars to my church food pantry. It was not an expensive meal last night with the free pasta sauce and $.25 for the Ronzoni Smart Spaghetti.
Thats a good price Blondie wish we had a store near me I have several of those coupons.
I buy the regular Ragu sauce and add a can of mushrooms, bell pepper, onion and cooked hamburger to it with some added Italian spice mix. I don't think there is enough of any added item to make it worth getting less sauce.
Roberta, I agree about adding additional items to my pasta sauce. My nephew always like the one with the sweet sausage in it, (if you could find the bits).
Blondie, you are right that your donation to the dinner was inexpensive.
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
