Today, I used 3 Russell Stover coupons on the Reserve Chocolate variety, saved $8.50 a box, cost $2.49. Total $4.47 for 3 boxes, saved $25.50! I will give one box to the hosts of the New Year's Eve party. Will be a BonFire outside on a farm in Ft. Inn, SC. First time we've done this. We will also have a covered dish dinner. I have many boxes of Luzianne Tea. The food item I've been assigned to bring is "drinks and chips". The tea was bought on sale with coupons, 24 family sized tea bags, cost $.30 after coupons.
A lady reporter just called, is going to do a Coupon Article on me for the newspaper. The lady from my DAV Aux. told her to interview me, told her about the nice Certificate of Appreciation I received for the coupons I sent to the Air Force in Europe. She said a photographer also wants to do a Coupon Shopping Trip with me. As we all know, the coupons have been light lately. She said she'll see if she can find some at the newspaper ofc. as she also wants him to take pictures of me cutting them out! They might do better to wait as I heard K-Mart is doing double coupons again, the first week in January.

I was surprised to find clearance items K-Mart on Cover GirlOlay. They also had many other brands, but I like Cover Girl. I bought 8 of the Cover Girl/Olay foundation in bottles and jars, marked $4.74, retail $10.99. I had the new $2/1 coupons. 1/2 of what I bought is for me and 1/2 for my black ladyfriend as I know her shade. She has a light brown complexion. She is happy to pay me for things I find for her.
I've also stocked up on Lipton Tea which is on sale 2/$3, 24 family sized tea bags and I have a $.60 coupon which my grocery store doubles every day. I don't drink as much "Sweet Tea" as the rest of the South, as I like mine unsweetened, but it is nice to have so much tea on hand for when I go to a covered dish dinner or a party. So many people buy the tea readymade in the grocery store, expensive to buy it that way.
The South was 67 degrees today, clear, sunny and like a Spring Day!
