I used $131.09 worth of coupons in January and saved $103.02 at the grocery shopping the sales. Not bad for only spending $260!

There should be 2 inserts in Sunday's papers. I saw Colgate, Pillsbury cakes, brownies, Lysol, etc.

Here's me January savings: coupons $61.79, club savings $127.53. I thought I was doing better than that with coupons. Oh, well!

Freebies give you a chance to try new products and usually a coupon is enclosed, unless the sample comes from Walmart.

I find large chain stores like Walmart do not like coupons, since they feel their prices are always the lowest. Well, I find that is not so true..so keep a price book ladies..and get the best prices for your groceries.

For example
Gallon of Jilbert's milk is $4.69 at Walmart.
Gallon of milk at Citgo is $3.39

Quite a savings! I like Jilbert's milk(local milk) because it is hormone free.

There were 2 inserts BUT I got 2 of 1 of them. Already cut out what I wanted and will do the clubs later as going to commissary in about an hour. I will be bushed when I get back so not sure if I will get them done today or not.
