Sorry, Tami. My mistake. I tried to get to the first thread, and a notice came up stating there was none. Just jumped to conclusions...... Thank you for the information.
Okey Dokey!!!!
So, I hope this is the right place where I can say this:
Carol Ann, I mailed you a "donation" env. yesterday. When I sent the last one out I hadn't gotten through all of the coupons yet--but I wanted to make sure it went out. Didn't know when I'd get to finish. So, I'm finally finished and it's on the way to you. Thanks again for what you do
Thank you, Barb, for the Christmas card, and the beautiful picture of your children! All three are complete dolls. Wonder what Santa has for them, this year??
I'll be watching for the donations. Thank you, in advance!
I have been indulging in one of my favorite pasttimes - napping. Nothing better on a Sunday afternoon.
Other than wrapping, I am done. And of course, deciding on the Christmas menu. I have no clue - maybe oatmeal!!! Just kidding.
I was thrilled this morning. I saw that my little local market had kitty litter on sale for $1.99 for 20 lbs. I knew I had coupons from last week's paper. But they are funny - like they will only double one like coupon per shopping trip. So I wasn't sure they would take 4 coupons on 4 bags. No problem. I now have 80 lbs. of Tidy Cats in my garage. And I got another box of free waffles from them also. I also got some chicken thighs for $.79 lb and cooked them right away for lunches for this week.
They have great hams - Smithfield brand. I got one for our sweepstakers luncheon yesterday. I put it in a Reynold's Oven Bag with about 2 cups of Juicy Juice white grape juice for about an hour at 350. It was teriffic. I got more compliments - even people who are not eating meat right now for whatever reason, tasted, and then ate some of that ham.
So I may have to get another one. And of course, it will be more asparagus, and some yams this time. I will pull out at least one of those $.79 pies from Mrs. Smith for dessert. They may go to my aunt's, as Elwood will be stuffed and has to have room to chase and tackle those people who may having domestic disputes, instead of being happy to just be together.
Carol Ann, I wil be looking for the envie you plan to put out to me tomorrow. Sorry - there are none in today's paper. But I will be looking for the catalina ones when I do my shopping later this week. I have Friday off, so I might be spending part of the morning there.
I better go and get off the computer in case Elwood is trying to get through. Today looks to be the last day he will be able to skateboard for a few days anyway - we have rain changing to snow coming and with the arctic winds coming in, our temps are not supposed to be more than 20 tomorrow.
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
