Pet Costumes

Do you dress up your pet for Halloween? One of my DIL's has costumes for seveal of thier dogs; she puts them on long enough to get some cute Halloween pictures and then that is about it for that year. I know several people that their pets will keep them on for hours! Some even thake theirs to Halloween parties all dressed up : I think secretly those people are missing have kids~ lol
Do you buy a costume or make one at home? Anyone ever found a store bought "pattern" for animal costumes?

A friend of mine worked at Old Navy and she said that pet costumes are one of the biggest sellers at halloween. I don't really see the point in it, seems like a waste of money. If you want to dress your pet you could always get a themed bandanna or something along that line not an entire outfit that the pet will probably eat or rip up.
