Looking for Costume Ideas for a 2 YR. Old Girl

I'm starting my search early this year.

I'm looking for an easy-to-make and uncomplicated costume for my daughter. She wont wear any type of hat for very long, plus she will have to be able to ride in her car seat with her costume on.

Any ideas?

She was a scarecrow last year. She wore her brothers costume's that I had made for him.

Both my DD's ( 7 and 1 year olds) are going as black cats this year. Oldest DD says she's gonna be "momma cat". LOL. But I have them both black leotards and black tights. Then Im gonna put white socks and shoes on both with white gloves so that they have white "feet". Havent figured out how Im gonna make the ears yet. Draw them some whiskers and give em a tail and they are off.

Walmart has a cute selection of Fairy costumes for little girls. If you are in an area that isnt cold, she could wear something like this and still ride in a carseat.

I don't think there was anything to wear in her hair either.

Tami I saw a really cute costume for a tube of toothpaste. It was a white pillowcase with holes cut for the arms and head and painted to whatever brand you wanted. They used a small white pleated lampshade for the top of the toothpaste, I know you said she wont wear hats but amybe she might wear a lampshade???? LOL It was cute though.

Debbie, That is a really cute idea.

I just bought her a JETS cheerleader outfit from EBAY. Im going to make green and white ponytail holder and try to find some pom poms for her.

Since that's her Daddy's favorite team, she really is the apple of his eye now.

Im trying to convince my son to go as a Steelers football player but so far a Vampire is winning that idea. LOL!!!

My twins were both cats when they were 2 - one white, one black. For their ears, I used plastic neutral colored headbands and sewed felt triangles onto them...guess you could hot-glue them too. I also sewed a tail from a strip of matching fabric and stuffed with polyfill; sewed onto a piece of elastic to go around their waist. Everyone loved the idea!

My daughter was a mouse when she was about that age.
Gray leggings, gray hoodie sweatshirt, tail pinned on the back, little ears cut from felt and basted onto the sweatshirt hood. It looked cute and since she had worn those clothes as "non-costume" clothes, she put them on easily.
