How to apply make up

I know how to put lipstick but can’t seem to figure out how to properly apply make up. I am twenty-seven years old and a mother of two boys. I am always busy with my family and my job. I just found myself and would like to pamper myself. Can anyone gave me a hand on how to properly put make up and how to get my eye browse, you know the whole ten yards. Links are good too. Thanks.

Hi Irivetz,

I'm glad that you want to look better for yourself. That is always a good thing. My suggestion would be to schedule a facial with a Mary Kay consultant. They will be able give you tips on application as well as colors and skin care. They may push for you to purchase but there is no obligation. You also may want to make an appointment at a cosmetics counter in a mall. Be sure to look at the technician and see if you like the way her make up looks. Again make sure there is no cost or obligation. They will hard sell but you can go to the drug store and get the same stuff.

I hope this helps.

Doris

Hi,

Tweezing is too painful for me so I just get mine waxed at a plastic surgery place, but I have seen people getting their eyebrows waxed at the nail shop.

Also, I saw on another site where they have a kit in walmart to give you the proper shape and you go from there.

I hope that helps.

foundation

It really depends on your skin type. I have normal to oily so oil free liquid works best for me but I only use it in the winter. During the summer I go au natural. lol

do you use a moisterizer or any type? they also sell a combo liquid/powder that goes on smooth. Powders tend to make me look like I have a "patty cake" face lol. Also, try to get some samples of different of different formula's. Go to some of the web sites and see if they have samples available
