Crockpot chicken drumsticks ?

Our church is having a potluck this Sunday and I'm to bring a main dish and a salad. We meet in a school cafeteria but won't have access to the kitchen so were told to bring crockpots and I have an abundance of drumsticks right now so was wondering if they cook well in a crockpot? I've searched some recipes on the web and some say to boil them for 7 minutes first and others say to remove the skin. One said you could just put them in with barbecue sauce and cook them. Any recipes or suggestions for the best way to cook them in a crockpot?

You might want to boil them for a few minutes before you put them in the crockpot unless you have a lot of juice/liquid in the crockpot they might not cook thru to the bone.

I boil chicken for a few minutes before I put it on the grill just to make sure it is cooked all the way thru. It doesn't change the taste or nothing. Something about red chicken by the bone makes my stomach turn.

Me too. I just don't want to overcook them. I live too far away to leave church and come back so they will be staying in the crockpot for at least two hours there before we actually eat.
