Cookie Recipe

To all you mom's who want to cook fast but still have it "homemade", this is a recipe for you! The basic recipe is one cake mix, 1 egg, and 1 stick of margarine or butter. Mix all together until there are no lumps. Here's where the fun starts. Add in anything you'd like. I've used molasses with spice for Cry Baby Cookies; Oatmeal and raisins to carrot cake; choc. chips to French vanilla; butter brickle to butter pecan; cherry chips to confetti; lemon drops (crushed) to lemon (best sugar cookie in town). This recipe can also be rolled out if you refrigerate it first and keep it cool while you work with it. If it feels to dry add a tablespoon of water...to wet a little more flour or add ins. My theory is the cookie dough is there to hold the goodies together. Drop by Tablespoons onto cookie sheet Smoosh them a little so they aren't too thick. Each mix will yield about 3 dozen cookies. Bake them at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes, just till they are solid not browned. Cool them on the sheet or one minute first before you remove them. Store air tight if there's any left. They can be frozen too. Enjoy!

Hi,
Here is a quick non-bake cookie recipe.

Fudge Drops
2 tablespoons butter
1 2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup evanporated milk or regular milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 package 6 ounce of semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup walnuts
Combine butter, milk, sugar and salt in pan, and bring to boil. Cook four or five minutes sitrring constantly. Start timing when mixture starts to bubble around edges of pan. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate, vanilla, and walnuts. Stir vigorously one minutes or until marshmallow melt and blend.
Working quickly drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper. cool. Makes two dozen.

The Fudge Drops sound great! I hate to spend a lot of time cooking when I can get the same result in shorter steps! I'll add this one to the album for sure!!! I've made a similar recipe before but added (at different times): rice krispies, trail mix, oatmeal and chinese noodles. This is really quick when you just have to have CHOCOLATE! Thanks!

I couldn't have said it better! There are days when nothing else will do. CHOCOLATE! Try my cake mix recipe with Fudge cake mix, chocolate chips, marshmellows, and walnuts! I've stirred in a cappacino mix when I've mixed the egg and butter together. Have to go easy on this one though! Too much of a good thing!
