| Chinese Chicken Bake

2Tbs. Maragine or butter
1/4 tsp. onion powder
2 1/2 cups Rice Krispie cereal
1 can (8oz.) crushed pineapple, drained thoroughly
2 cups chopped COOKED chicken or turkey
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 cups chopped celery
2 Tbs. chopped green onion
4 1/2 tsp. soy sauce(I use Lite soy sauce)
Preheat oven to 350Degrees. Combine margarine and onion powder.( I am thinking about adding more spices or herbs.) Gradually add cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Set aside. Combine pineapple, COOKED chicken, soup, celery, green onion and soy sauce. Stir in 1 cup cereal mixture. (leaving 1 1/2 cups for later.)Pour into ungreased 2 qt. baking dish.( I always use Pam...easy cleanup)Sprinkle with remaining 1 1/2 cups of cereal mixture. Bake 30 mins. or until top is lightly browned.
Makes 4-5 servings.
