ENDED: Autumn/Halloween Smiley Story Contest!

It's time for another smiley story contest!

This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.

Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story.

Some examples for autumn story lines are:

leaves
back to school
cooler weather
changing of the seasons
football
autumn chores

Your stories can be fiction or non-fiction, it doesn't matter, just be sure they are themed around autumn and/or Halloween.

Remember, the more smilies and the longer the story the better! Entries are judged on originality and use of smilies.

Story Example (this is a short version)

On the first day of school my kids

There once was a family of who lived in ...There was baby Suzy and angry Andy and crazy uncle George and cute Tami ...they all liked to carve on Halloween and jump out and everyone with their friends Battythe bat and Skinny the skeleton...but after a long day they all wanted to with everyone while the watched them...

My 2 dogs Max and Rudy have been frolicking in the leaves out back

. I love to watch them play

and run in circles under the maple trees. There are leaves of Gold, Auburn and green. What a glorious sight to watch a leaf come slowly twirling down from the highest of trees.

With the Rocky mountains in the background, the grandeur of it all is breathtaking. The crisp fresh air and knowing that turtle necks, socks and closed shoes are now a must.

Max and Rudy are ready to sport their sweaters too, as they hang out by the pumpkins

. They seem to be working a little harder at finding a warm sunny spot to bask in

. But taking naps never seems to be a problem for them as they twirl up into little donuts looking like circles

are dachshunds and they are long and slinky. They look like little bandits

poking out from the colorful leaves and pouncing on each other for fun

. Sometimes I wish I was a puppy, not a care in the world just the joy of enjoying every season for what it brings us and the pleasure of having a warm nap
