On August 18th, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment releases PETE’S DRAGON: High Flying Edition on DVD!


Academy Award nominated combination animation and live-action PETE’S DRAGON: High Flying Edition soars onto DVD! This 1977 musical adventure about a young orphan and his unusual friend boasts a star-studded cast including Mickey Rooney, Shelley Winters, Jeff Conaway, Helen Reddy, and Sean Marshall as Pete!

I'm a 2nd grade teacher and my first Reading unit is on dragons--Dragon Gets By. This would add a great wrap-up lesson.
